i love love love http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/16995!
i’d like to add a full 2010 calendar to it somehow, so that the magnet becomes more useful for our guests. i specifically want to use a magnet for our save the date so that our guests can be constantly reminded of the fabulous event to come.
we’re using black (and some pink) as part of our wedding, so i feel these fit the best. we’re having our engagement session this summer, and i adore the idea of having more than one picture featured on our save the date, especially since we’re obsessed with our photographer’s work

Better luck to me this time? Lol…
The perfect std http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/22834 “Spring” but i’d add some gray with the yellow so it goes with the color theme of the wedding!
As for What i’d like to see on your blog… i guess more about you? I love how you have such great general topics and ideas, but i’d love to see more about Heidi!
AmyJean @RelentlessBride :

I still like my earlier spring time choice with a slight change of color (adding gray and taking out the pink).
Another thing I love about this blog is that you cover a lot of different topics. Wedding planning can be very confusing and its nice when you break things down (like the acronym post) Keep up the great work!

http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/17893 I like the floral design and simplicity of the formatting.
As far as the site, it looks great. Perhaps more input from bride to be’s locally. Groom insight would be hilarious as well.

I love the save the date photo booth magnets! I’d keep them in black and white and add only a little color to the actual date.

My favorite save the date is http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/12603 I love how the design is so simple and the couple is just showing how much fun and full of life they are. We would love to have a simple design that displayed our fun nature and love for life and each other. I have been looking around the site and you seem to have a-lot of helpful information. I will post back with any ideas or comments!

This baseball magnet SHOUTS us! WE are such huge fans of the Houston Astros we are even taking our wedding party to a game. I love how you can imput your own image in it. I might change the font to something more elegant for the “We Fell in Love over home plate” and for our names Jonathan and Jennifer and our wedding date November 28, 2009 formal invitation to follow. But other than that the magnet is perfect as is!

For this website I would like to see examples of unique ideas for invitations and decorations. My Fiance and I love to have fun and want to be able to share our fun loving side with our friends without being to “un-traditional”. If you could provide examples and inspiration for ideas that we could incorporate into our wedding this site would on the top of my favorites list! I like what I have seen so far, daily blog posts would be awesome so I could check in to see what is new!

I loved the wedsite personally – You are able to get everything that you need there with any headaches – and at this time every bride wants to deal with who ever brings the less stress
My personally favorite is the Deep Rose Save the Date Card – that was so beatuiful and classic – the words that you are able to put ob your Save the Date was absolutly moving.

My fiance and I loved http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/17370 The only thing we would change on it is to use orange instead of black and still keep the blue flowers.
This site is pretty cool and I’m glad I got to look around in it. I would have never thought of sending a magnet as a save-the-date card.
Elena Simental :
Date: April 17, 2009 @ 12:14 am
I looked at more of the designs and I still the one i previously mentioned. I don’t think I would like the black orange though but white with orange ink color. I like a different font too the one from http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/16995
I just discovered you guys had post cards too. : )

I started browsing the site and found the perfect Save the Dates for our wedding! We are going for a vintage summer wedding and the stemming flowers design would be amazing! The only thing I would change as far as the text is to put our names and text
Truly Engaging is a wonderful site for inspiration! It’s on my bookmarked list and I make a stop daily to see what is new and exciting, I love the fact that there is a budget section that offers the future brides examples that won’t break the bank! Keep up the great work!!

For the save the date from Magnet Street, I heart the “Blocks of Love.” As far as customization, I wouldn’t do much except change the names
The colors incorporate ours, the font is flirty, and pretty much spot on!
Now, for truly engaging…You are great, so my request is simply put, POST MORE! I get sad when I do my daily check in and it’s the same post as last time:-( I am sure coming up with things on a daily basis is hard, but I crave your blog!
Thanks

The perfect std http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/22834 “Spring” but i’d add some gray with the yellow so it goes with the color theme of the wedding!
Don’t stop with the random general topics. I love how i don’t know what to expect from one day to the next with your post, yet they are all relevant and helpful… keep up the great work!

I absolutely LOVE the “Save The Date Magnets (Mini)”!! I would like the background to be a deep purple and the writing in gold! I would use a black and white or sepia colored picture of the two of us! How beautiful!! I love the calendar idea and the layout is lovely!
I would love to see more inspiration boards and more italian themed ideas-tuscan
I love the budget section!! That is so helpful!! Keep up the good work!!!

My pick for STD http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/22360. I love the fresh look and feel of it and I hope my wedding will be just that, fresh!
As for the blog, I don’t know what I would like to see more of because this is my first visit! I’m new to wedding planning so I’m excited to see what you already have.
Catherine B :
Date: April 17, 2009 @ 8:22 am
My pick would be:
Save The Date Magnets – Tender Tree
In the stock colors, as my wedding will be in the fall and I love the orange against the black, with the following font:
OCNS Font for a clear and easy to read font.
For the Website: I think they have to work on using something else to give it the extra oomf, ie: Light box instaed of downloading the actual pdf.
I would change the layout of the website itself, using more “buttons” and make it less wordy and more picturesque. This would also allow them to showcase their design talent that they have a lot of (one of the best features).
Things I like about the site is that it is informative. They explain exactly what you will be getting and that there are a lot of choices to chose from.
Hope this helps a lot. And thanks!

I love the elegant simplicity of the Classic Allure
http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/23320
It’s very similar to what we’re envisioning for our invites, so it would go together without being matchy-matchy. I’d personalize it by adding out wedding colors (natch!) but I actually really like the font that you chose.
As for the site, this is acutally my first time here, so I’m looking at it with fresh eyes. I like the categories on the top of the page, but some sort of index or more advanced search feature would be nice. Perhaps a “most popular” link on the right hand side of the page to links that got the most comments/views.

I would LOVE to use the “Save The Date Photo Booth Magnets – Made for Each Other” for my Save the Date.
They are fun and flirty and the perfect way to keep your date in your guest’s minds.
Thanks for holding the give away!
As for the site, I love all of the little inspiration ideas. Seeing what other people do for their weddings helps fuel my creativity and makes me think of what I do and don’t want in my own wedding. Thanks again!

I would pick http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/12974. To make it “mine”, I would add three pictures of my fiancee and me. In the first, we would be holding a card with the month of our wedding date. In the second, we would be holding a card of the day of our wedding day. And in the last picture, we would be holding a card with the year of our wedding date. In the box with writing, it would simply say “Save the Date” and our names. Of course, we would add as much color as possible to compliment our wedding colors – dusty rose and silver. And lastly, we would pick a simple script to match the scirpt on the cards we are holding in the pictures.
Comments regarding Truly Engaging: I must say I love giveaways!!! I would like to see more, if possible. It is so exciting to think you might win something for your wedding (especially since every penny saved makes a huge difference.) I would also like to see more ‘do it yourself’ tips that are achievable by normal people (or even the artistically challenged like myself =), practical, and pretty.
Thanks!

My favorite Save the Date from MagnetStreet is the “Heart-Shaped Magnet – A Photo Booth”, I am in love with it!
As for the website, I love the romance stories and wish there were more! I also love collecting photos from real weddings– centerpieces, bouquets, etc. for inspiration! Any pictures are awesome

I’m loving the freshness of the Flower Enchantment design (I think I’d go with the post card version). We’re going for a pale blue/navy theme (due to our competing alma maters’ colors!)… so I think I’d do the background flowers in a very pale blue and the colored text in a classy dark navy. We also might want to work some text into our photos… us holding cards or a realistic-looking newspaper saying “save the date” in the left hand photo and “we’re getting married!” in the right?
And corny as it sounds, I think your blog is “truly engaging!” I love how it’s a community for those of us who are tying the knot… a forum for us to bounce ideas off of one another and learn from each others’ failures and successes. Hooray!

Save The Date Photo Booth Magnets – Different is Good!
This fits in great with our location. We are getting married in Los Angeles and nothing says LA like films. We would keep the black and white colors because those are the colors we are using in our wedding and we would put our engagement photos in the STDs once we did our engagement shoot. I think depending on the photos we would do black and white photos which is really classic and carries our colors over again.

The Stemming Flowers one (http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/16371) is so pretty, and we’re getting married at a botanical garden so it’s perfect.
I loooove looking at amazing photos of real weddings. The couples always look so happy, and we need more of that around.

Oops, didn’t get the personalization part in there… My friend took an amazing picture of us by the ocean where the water would look great next to the sandy-ish color of the paper. We’re both partial to the Copperplate Gothic font, so we’d use that and then attempt to decide on a script font.

Just checking back in today! I did a lot more browsing on the website yesterday day and found tons of inspiration for some DIY projects and reception ideas. I really like that this blog has a search tool and not just tags because it comes in very useful when I am looking for something specific! I’ll check back in tomorrow! Can’t wait to see who the winner is, giveaways are so exciting!

I really love the South Asian Enthusiasm card because it’s modern and I love the pattern and colors, but yes, I can see the S. Asian influence in there. This would be the perfect save the date card for my wedding because we are having a fusion wedding. I am S. Asian, but my fiance is not, and we are trying hard not to have an Indian wedding, but rather a wedding that reflects both of our tastes and backgrounds. That said, I’d love to see more on Truly Engaging related to ethnic weddings or ethnic influences on weddings – I love that you posted a S. Asian card above, and appreciated your post on multicultural weddings recently. Please keep it coming!

Wow this is really catching on… I think there were 6 posts when I first found out about this giveaway and now there is 33! One subject that I love to look at one websites are pictures and ideas from real weddings! I like to hear about how the bride did her DIY and where she got her supplies from. I also like seeing how these projects turn out in real life instead of in magazine shoots that mess with the lighting and colors to make it look perfect. Can’t wait to see who the winner will be for this giveaway on Monday!!

I love the Save The Date Postcards – Floral Essence. Our colors are red, black, and gold, and my flowers are roses. I would definitely add some gold print to this – possibly the website and date. I would use Disney font for the names to tie in our loose Disney theme, but would leave the rest as it was. I would add one additional line of text so we could have our wedding website AND the location.
I love the humor in the blog – the April 1st picture post and the March 26 shoe post particularly stand out. I LOVE anything budget, as I am doing a LOT of DIY for our wedding.
Ashley :

I love all of the save the date magnets but I am leaning towards the photobooth. Our colors are brown and green with a rustic theme so I also like the fancy blossoms. One thing I would like to be able find is a set of three magnets. One says save, another the and the last one says date. You can then place a picture on each one and maybe a few other details. I think guests would think it was unique and they would have more magnets to use on their fridge!
I really enjoy the blog and it usually has alot of great information. I would love to see more budget ideas for centerpieces or decorations. Most of the things I see on the blog I have never heard of or will never do so it would be nice to see things that anyone can find.

The save the date that I am most fond of is the Iris Enchantment. I just recently got engaged and have started planning for the big day. my finance’ and I have decided on Iris flowers because they are unique and beautiful! The save the date cards would go perfect with the theme of our wedding.
Truely Engaging is a well planned out website that is easy accessible and easy to navigate. I would however like to see more resources because a future bride can never have too many places to find great deals!

i love the light background, and being able to put your own pictures on it gives it such a fun personal touch! i’d like to change the font to bolder colors to make it pop more.
about the site – i love how you feature unusual things; its great for inspiring unique ideas. i like the real wedding photos too. would like to see more inspiration board. i love your posts with ideas about color combos/wedding themes. keep up the great work!! i really enjoy checking your blog

I just love the “me and you” save the date. Its simple and crisp and leaves the focus on the cuple instead of the design. This is the theme if you will of my wedding. I would like to focus more on the love between Robert and I rather than the hoop-la of having a big wedding.
truley engaging is a wonderful website with helpful reasorces and cool ideas that i wouldnt have thought about.
Christie Deering :
Date: April 18, 2009 @ 8:25 pm
I would choose the Organic Beauty Postcards. I love the idea of a post card for a save the date. It’s so casual, which I think is the point of the save the date. Plus there are no silly envelopes to open, the receiver sees your message right there.
The Organic Beauty cards are perfectly simple, but if I could change them a bit I would change the color. I would go with a celery background and fool around with pinks, purples and maybe even oranges for the font color.
As for your blog: I really enjoyed checking it out. I realize that some things fit into more than one category, but I didn’t enjoy having to sift past something I had already read on a different page. Eg. Having the same story on fashion and style. I would absolutely love to see more of the real weddings. Can I suggest that you show the invites for a particular wedding and then the wedding photos? I am having a hard time picking invites because I think they need to be a bit of a preview to the wedding. I want to see how other brides may conquer this too. Since you are an invite company this totally ties your blog to your store. Thanks! Wish me luck on winning.

I love the Heart Magnet Legends of Love Save the date. I would have the heart be in black with the three lines being pink, platinum and turqouise.
Cheap&Easy :
Date: April 19, 2009 @ 4:53 pm
I would choose http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/12971 photo both look. The colors would be very much the same – black, white & some red but I’d change the text. Under our names & the pictures I would put “rock the vows” then the date & “save the date”. We both grew up listening to 80’s rock & it will play a prominent roll in our reception so I’d have 2 pics of us in the middle & a pic of some 80’s band on either side. Likely Motely Crue & Gnuns n’ Roses. Our friends would love it – totally us!
My favorite thing is the budget advice & inspiration. There can never be too much for someone who is trying to save every way possible!

I would love to have the save the date photo booth http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/12990
I think they are so adorable! I would
of course have to add some HOT PINK to coordinate with the color scheme of our wedding. I would like it to say something like ” Save the date were getting hitched” or “Save the Date We are tying the knot” in pink with a nice elegant readable cursive font.
As for the Blog I really enjoyed the site and reading everything, but I would love to see more real weddings. I like to see other peoples styles and ideas

How exciting!! I would pick http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/12990 I’ve already picked the colors and fonts I want, now I just need to take the pictures. I would choose Ex Ponto Pro Regular for the font, and I would need to create my own background color (grey) with black lettering. I’m planning to have a photobooth at the wedding so its a perfect fit!

What a fantastic giveaway! I love the idea for a postcard Save The Date, I think it’s so fun! If I won, I would choose the Photo Collage (http://www.magnetstreet.com/store/details/market/517/productId/12605) design with the same font they used, and the colors would be seafoam, beige, and white.
In regards to what I would like to see more of on your blog, I think it would be so fun to see more DIY projects and more real weddings!

I like the Save The Date Magnets – Flower Enchantment. It’s so elegant. I like the silver flower print, but would like to see other options for the color of the wordings other than green, like maybe burgundy. For the website, there is so much talent from your graphics designer, it would be nice to see a couple of options for different fonts- to fit less formal and more formal weddings and a couple of options of different color choices to fit wedding colors.
