There is a lot to love about Real Simple Weddings magazine 2010!  I think it’s a tremendous resource and would be especially helpful if you are newly engaged and just beginning the planning process.

For instance, the silhouette  wedding dress glossary will clue you in if you haven’t the slightest idea the differences between a trumpet or a sheath…

The flower glossary is also a nice feature for determining seasonal flowers and colors…

Ten chapters walk you through the logistics of a wedding {time-line, budget, location, guests, attire, flowers, vows, photos & video, food, location}. And, there are 10 beautiful real weddings {each with 10 photos} to inspire you to achieve the wedding of your dreams!

A backyard wedding with a taco bar… an etsy-inspired budget weddinga contemporary urban wedding with fun uses of their plus sign {+} motif …a wedding of charming DIY floral details… a colorful artsy retro 1950’s wedding as well as a…  cultural wedding where East Meets South… A bride you may recognize… lovely actress LisaGay and her groom Robin and their gorgeous non-traditional affair there’s a pretty pink and purple garden wedding with a new take on the guest book…. glean inspiration from this July 4th holiday wedding complete with a lobster bake and finally… a playful wedding of canary and gray with a photo both, skateboarding groomsmen and donuts for dessert!

Thank you for sharing your review! Sounds like $13.95 well spent. I finally made it to your site after seeing you listed on BrideTide.com’s Top 100 Wedding Blogs. :)

Mmmkay but where can you find it? It’s not on Amazon, it’s not in my local bookstores (including Barnes & Noble), and I live in New York so it’s not like I’m in an underserviced market. I’ve been looking for this for weeks!

The price is a little steep for this magazine so I was thrifty and browsed through it at my local bookstore. Such a great magazine though! :)
