We are having a Celtic themed reception since my fiance's family has big ties in Ireland. All the men are wearing kilts made by one of the groomsmen (he's a kilt maker and our summer employer). I have toying with the idea of custom made Sandlar boots (they make awesome boots for Renaissance minded people) in white and blue; the kind with buckles that go up to my knee. They also have a short boot style called the Queen of Hearts ( wear these as part of my Renaissance uniform during the summer). Since my fiance wore out his 15 year old Sandlars I might surprise him with a new set on our wedding day.

Now I'm rambling! :D I'd also consider fuzzy unicorn or bunny slippers ;).

I love it when brides wear elegant OR fun footware. They always get special attention for a few photos especially when the groom dips her.
