When it comes to a Mardi Gras inspired event… you can definitely get your inspiration from outside the box. I kept it fairly low-key with this inspiration board but still… a beautiful latte-colored gown, earthy necklaces and jewel-toned button bouquets. Think shrimp creole, jambalaya and Cajun celebration. Vibrant color everywhere… Wouldn’t it be really fun to have a DIY photo booth fully decked with a variety of costumes, masks, plumes and beads?
And oh. my. goodness. the music! Who knows, maybe the Neville Brothers are available.

Love the idea of the photo booth with costumes ready to go – that would create some really fun keepsake pics.

Wow! Love that wedding gown! It’s so big and beautiful!! A New Orleans wedding would be sooo fun!! I’d serve Hurricanes (their famous drink) as the signature cocktail!!
