Design Your Own Save the Date

As promised… here is Nate and Nalie’s Save the Date and coordinating Carrier Card for their June 2010 wedding! A Tale of two hearts Twin Cities style. Boy in Minneapolis falls in love with girl from St. Paul. The blue line going down the middle is the Mighty Mississippi. Using one of the photos from their e-session, Nalie designed this super fun and clever Save the Date…
Framing the Save the Date is the full-color, blue linen paper Carrier Card… carrying their wedding colors and greater “map” theme.
Gorgeous and Practical!
The Carrier Card definitely plays a big part in tying the look together, but it also serves a greater purpose… Nalie and Nate decided to use the backside of the Carrier Card as a means to getting important info out to their guests.
Printed on the backside… is their wedding website and vital info regarding event and area hotels.
Bravo Nalie and Nate! Great job designing such a unique and fun keepsake Save the Date Magnet!

I love this idea, although i did go with a pre-created image via MagnetStreet that was totally customized for us, it was perfect – but if i had some creativity of my own, i may try to design my own!
