Cool Alternative to the Wish Jar
Monday, 23 February 2009 10:20 am byDear internet, I know I don’t have to tell you that you can find wedding inspiration~ just about everywhere. One of my personal favorites is Country Home magazine. Ah, a place to escape and daydream of old nails and vintage toile fabric and read about those who are undaunted by color and devoted to a menagerie of flea-market finds. Yes, it’s all good!
In any case, I was paging through the February edition and saw this Wire Photo Hanger and immediately thought WEDDING… perfect for a French country or rustic-style event. Similar to the wish jar, I envision this hanger as a wonderful place for guests to place their well-wishes, photos, notes to the bride and groom, etc. And, perhaps the hanger could be dual purpose~ using it to hang Place Cards as well.
Hmm… What do you think?

The guestbook–as excruciatingly correct and traditional as it is–needs some revamp and I think you’ve offered a wonderful alternative here. I’d much rather offer up my best wishes by way of seperate little note . . .
